A meeting with a delegation headed by Christian Bugnion, an independent expert from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), was held at the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the work done by the organization in the framework of the project "Capacity building of national capacities in the fight against human trafficking in Azerbaijan".

In particular, there was extensive discussion on the issues of international expert interest, in general information on the work done in the fight against human trafficking, the prospects for future cooperation and exchange of views on the next National Action Plan.

In general, the meeting was held in a warm and business atmosphere, and the guest thanked the staff for the effective exchange of information.
